So it really just won't stop raining here!
Yesterday I went out to my grandma's farm (in the rain) to dig up some perennials for my garden (in the rain), and decide since I was already dirty and wet to hang around the hummingbird feeder to try and get some pictures of them. They are so tiny and pretty, and now I think I want to get a hummingbird feeder - but am not sure if they work in the city.. anyone know??

I'm thinking if theres not a lot of tree cover you may not get a lot of action. If there are other feeders around you may have more luck! They're great to sit and watch though. That's an awesome awesome picture by the way!
ReplyDeleteHmn...not sure, never tried. My hypothesis would be no, but can't hurt to try, right?
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never realized there were hummingbirds in Canada, so when I saw my first one on Vancouver Island, I thought it had escaped from a zoo or something! I was very excited!
