Cross Canada Etsy: Montreal, Quebec

Montreal is one of my favourite cities. When Scooter and I first started dating it was one of our first "weekend getaways". We fell in love with the great old European feel, the awesome BBQ place we found, and the music coming out of this amazing Canadian city.

As we were leaving Montreal at the end of the weekend we kept thinking of ways that we could move there, all of them included French classes :)

Original art and fine art prints.
Her work has been featured on TV and in magazines and I think its just beautiful.

Baby room decor: baby prints and kids wall decals. Baby Abe's room is nautical themed so I totally fell in love with this decal!

I really love the beautiful fabrics and milatary inspiration in this clothing collection. Her military leggings rock!

Bandana Cowl

I had a bunch of this crazy yarn that I picked up at one of our craft swaps that I didn't know what to do with.  I actually wasn't even sure what weight it was until I looked it up.  Turns out it was bulky and I ended up making the Bandana Cowl from The Purl Bee.

I thought it's simple shape and textures would calm this busy yarn and I think it did...and even though I had two different colorways I still think it looks great.  Pretty sure my sister's going to claim this project too!

Knitting Project > Cowl

I mentioned I was obsessed with cabling, I learned on this really quick cowl pattern. I was able to start and finish this at home without any help from my fellow Stich n' Bitcher's, I think it's safe to say I may be an intermediate knitter - and not a beginner anymore :)
