Cornfields & Deadlines
October is flying by! I am not done my sweater, have not even begun to think about decorations and haven't started Lily or Kate's costumes..and really Maya's is just cut out so it's barely started! I need to do some serious time management.. darn jobs getting in the way of fun work!
Here are a few pics from our cornfield photoshoot last weekend :) Now I need to get back to work!!

Pumpkin Patch
This weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada. Our weekend included a wedding, pumpkin patch, family, turkey, sneaking on to farm land to do a photo shoot of the kids and dinner out with friends, and the best weather ever. How was your weekend? Now I need to focus on getting everything done for Halloween!

Hello Sparrows and Arrows readers, I'm Nikki from Perpetually Engaged and I love all things weddings. I find inspiration all over the place so today I thought I'd share a little Halloween/Fall wedding idea with you.
Intimate backyard weddings are becoming more and more popular these days which means you have more control over the decor, and more importantly the landscaping. Unless of course you have controlling inlaws ;) If you have the time and space, I think it would be lovely to grow your flowers over your altar. Talk about a money saver too!
If you live in a state with decent Fall weather and can still have an outdoor wedding, I love the idea of growing pumpkins up and over your altar like these ones I saw at the botanical gardens in Geneva, Switzerland. Aren't they beautiful? You can find directions on the best pumpkins for climbing here.
Thanks for having me Jessi and Cassie!
