hummingbirds and more rain

So it really just won't stop raining here! 

Yesterday I went out to my grandma's farm (in the rain) to dig up some perennials for my garden (in the rain), and decide since I was already dirty and wet to hang around the hummingbird feeder to try and get some pictures of them. They are so tiny and pretty, and now I think I want to get a hummingbird feeder - but am not sure if they work in the city.. anyone know??

Rain Rain Go Away

It's pouring out. Clifford is on nights and normally I would take the kids to a park or walk downtown while he sleeps, but that is out of the question today. It may be a library day... What do you like to do when it rains and any outdoor plans are dashes?

April Showers....

It's been a rainy weekend here, which at first I was annoyed with, but on the plus side not being able to work on house projects allowed for guilty free lazing around and taking it easy, complete with take out, visiting with friends/family, Scattergories and movies! So I am thinking rain isn't always a bad thing :)

Hope you had a great weekend - it's late and I am up making carrot cupcakes for a competition at work tomorrow (totally forgot about it until Emilie reminded me at 8:30pm...)
