Just Lily & ME

Clifford left yesterday to take the older girls camping (the great outdoors and I don't mesh well), so it's just me and Lily for the weekend. Last night she helped me with my Gwyneth recipe, and I think we are going to go for a walk downtown today followed by dinner with friends at our fav German restaurant.

The rest of Saturday was spent about an hour and a half away at my aunt's birthday party, where I pretty much spent my time chasing Lily around and keeping her out of things :)

Lily's new thing is to carry purses everywhere - filled to the brim with toys, it's cute, but I do kinda picture her in 50 years, pushing a grocery cart filled with bottles, trailed by cats

Lily's Afternoon

While on the phone with a client today, I could hear the wonderous sounds of all the toys being dumped out, so when I was off, I watched silently from the door -Lily was clearly on some kind of mission....

First she eyed the big white container - and emptied it

then needed to bring it to another part of the room

adds a blanket...

and falls asleep...

while I am stuck with a massive mess of toys to clean up :)

oh and she did all this dressed in her Halloween White Rabbit jacket?! Kids are so weird sometimes!
